Praise for the book, Conquer Tobacco Naturally 

 

Client Problem: Dr. Stacey, a life-long smoker (even knowing better as a resident physician), was afraid of gaining weight, being irritable on her long hospital shifts, and was concerned she's fail because her husband smoked.

Action: I prescribed a series homeobotanicals, starting with a formulation for emotions, with 30 drops taken 3X each day; later we included an Hb for detoxing and for irritability; we worked out a special nutrition plan that prevented weight gain based on the results of her lab test and that fit her work schedule; weekly coaching fit her busy schedule as a new MD.

Outcome: Stacey quit in 8 weeks and has been smoke-free ever since. She is happier as a nonsmoker to set a good example for her patients and her 2 year old. Her husband still smokes but is open to coaching (but hasn't made a commitment yet). Until then, I recommended a nutrient plan for him to take as a smoker.

 

Client Problem: Stan, a mid-level financial analyst, realized that smoking did not project the appropriate image for advancement at Amazon but he enjoyed smoking. He was conflicted ~ give up his pleasure or advancement? 

Action: In coaching sessions he discovered that he did not have to give up pleasure, but learned how to actually increase it beyond smoking. Stan discovered how he sabotaged advancement by smoking. Based on his lab results he phased out smoking over 8 weeks with a 5-10 lb weight gain nutrition plan so that he would look less tired and command more presence, and more likely to be noticed positively by his superiors.

Outcome: Stan took 11 weeks to rid himself of cigarettes. Although he hasn't been up for promotion yet, he's used a new-found confidence to freelance financial analysis for internet infopreneur "re-starts" who made serious errors on their first and second internet ventures.
